Job Responsibilities

* Manage customer complaint/ claim activities for sales team through effective communication with mill operations, quality team, sales team, and customer.

* Support entry and maintenance of complaints in SAP and generate reports for internal consumption.

* Support SQEs, external subcontracting, and quality teams to assure on-time delivery, product quality assurance, and processor compliance.

* Support sales operations, quality and procurement stakeholders in various activities; including but not limited to on-site quality inspections, claims, qualification of external suppliers, non-conformance/ corrective action demands.

* Frequent on-site visits to approved processor and/or 3rd party inspection service companies to monitor progress and navigate potential roadblocks.

* Assist in field visits to customer yards, threading and inspection companies to verify customer complaints/ claims.

* Support and investigate transportation and import related claims though communication with, but not limited to, customers, suppliers, surveyors, and internal stakeholders (i.e. insurance department)

Job Requirements

* BS/BA in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred, or equal work experience.

* Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing or related field.

* Minimum 4 years of experience in quality inspection, control, or assurance areas, preferably with oil and gas tubular products.

* Knowledge or tubular and/or steel manufacturing.

* Knowledge of OCTG finishing processes preferred.

* Knowledge of dimensional, NDT, and other related testing requirements preferred.

* Knowledge of API/ASTM/ISO standards and specifications.

* A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Proficiency in Word, Excel & Power Point.

* Experience with SAP or strong IT/ ERP system knowhow required.

* A self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced office setting.

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

* Ability to interface with personnel on all levels.

* Inter-cultural and diversity understanding.

* Positive attitude, energetic, personable and a reliable team player.

* Skilled in accuracy, detail oriented, and organizational abilities.
