Job Description

The Quality Lead works under the direction of the Quality Supervisor to ensure the ongoing improvement and maintenance of the Quality System. Set up and perform multiple quality tests, compile statistical data, and prepare reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in analyzing and solving quality and safety issues and perform process improvement projects.
  • Set up and perform multiple quality tests, compile statistical data, and prepare reports on testing results.
  • Assist in coordinating the documentation for Corrective and Preventive Actions as well as Customer Complaints.
  • Analyze quality costs (failure reviews, re-inspection, rework, etc) and other quality data towards reduction of the total cost of quality.
  • Perform internal audits as required to comply with ISO 9001
  • Prepare inspection plans and instructions to analyze trial products.
  • Support all quality-related tasks on the production floor as needed.
  • Perform density flow testing and oversee quality testing equipment and its functions.
  • Train, motivate, and support all Quality team members.
  • Coordinate the administration of the quality assurance program and enter HSE statistics data.
  • Coordinate and assist in preparing inspection reports and maintaining files of inspection documents.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management System ISO 9001.
  • Experience in problem-solving techniques, work instructions, SPC, etc
  • Use of basic dimensional and metrology inspection tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical and organizational mindset together with effectiveness in building and implementing new processes and procedures is required.
  • Time management skills / Prioritization skills / Organizational Skills / Interpersonal Skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Bilingual skills (preferred but not required).
