The Quality Assurance Analyst is the first-level monitor within the Gulf Coast Workforce Board’s Quality Assurance & Risk Team. This position supports monitoring, compliance, and quality assurance activities for workforce programs and subrecipients. QA Analysts perform detailed reviews, data analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and proficiency in case management systems.
Monitoring& Compliance
- Conduct programmatic monitoring activities, including desk reviews, on-site visits, and interviews, following established QA procedures.
- Review subrecipient compliance with contractual requirements, policies, and regulations.
- Document findings, prepare working papers, and assist in drafting monitoring reports.
- Conduct accurate data validation in case management systems.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of monitoring results, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Analyze data trends and identify discrepancies for corrective action.
- Assist in quality improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and identifying gaps.
- Collaborate with Lead QA Analysts and QA Manager to implement corrective actions and improvements.
- Support risk assessment activities by gathering data and documenting issues in alignment with COSO ERM principles.
- Escalate compliance concerns and emerging risks to Lead QA Analysts.
- Experience in compliance, auditing, quality assurance, or workforce program monitoring.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare clear, concise reports.
- Experience in data entry and case management systems with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study.
- 3 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school, or in job-related duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and technical writing skills.
- Familiarity with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and monitoring standards.
