Quality Control Inspector

Overview

• Perform inspection (visual, dimensional, gauging and comparison as appropriate) on new manufactured, repaired and modified equipment and components pre, during and post qualification testing
• Raise Non-conformance Reports against non-conforming equipment / components and manufacturing, repair, modification quality records
• Work in accordance with Goods Inwards Quality Procedures
• Ensure inspection measuring equipment is kept safe, clean, fit for purpose and in current calibration
• Perform inspection surveys on returned operational equipment (Rosehill Resource and Customer owned)
• Perform Quality Control checks to Operations Support processes at key stages (i.e. prior to final shipment, job card completion etc.)
• Perform Non Destructive Testing on components for certification purposes
• Witness pressure testing of equipment for certification to ensure that the tests are conducted to the required standards

• Experience in a similar role – inspection of mechanical components & assemblies
• Trained and Experienced Internal Quality Auditor would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of workshop procedures and practices
• Knowledge of Risk Assessment/Job Card/Engineering Test Procedure compliance
• Able to display quality control/certification techniques
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook & Teams)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings & technical documentation
