Position Summary
We are seeking a Completions and Handover Coordinator to support a data center project through oversight of system setup, turnover readiness, and handover execution. This role will act as an owner-facing representative for the handover process, helping ensure systems are properly structured for turnover and that all supporting documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements.
The successful candidate will provide oversight of completions and handover activities from planning through field execution, including participation in handover meetings, review of turnover documentation, and formal acceptance of handovers from construction on behalf of the owner. This position requires strong organizational discipline, document control awareness, and the ability to work across construction, commissioning, vendors, and client stakeholders to help deliver a structured and traceable transition from construction to commissioning and operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide oversight of the completions and handover process for assigned systems and subsystems on the Rowan Temple 1 data center project.
- Support setup and verification of system and subsystem structure within the completions process to ensure turnover boundaries are clear and aligned with project requirements.
- Attend handover and turnover meetings on behalf of the owner and provide clear feedback on system readiness, documentation status, and outstanding issues.
- Review handover packages, turnover dossiers, check sheets, inspection records, test records, punch items, and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and quality.
- Coordinate with construction, commissioning, quality, vendors, and owner stakeholders to resolve documentation gaps and outstanding turnover issues.
- Confirm that required handover documentation is properly compiled, organized, and technically aligned prior to acceptance.
- Accept handovers from construction on behalf of the owner when documentation, status, and turnover conditions meet agreed requirements.
- Track turnover progress, outstanding actions, punch status, and documentation closeout to support timely system release to commissioning.
- Support alignment between the completions system, field execution status, and handover documentation to help maintain an accurate turnover record.
- Work closely with commissioning personnel to ensure handover status supports commissioning readiness and execution priorities.
- Assist in identifying risks, bottlenecks, and procedural issues affecting turnover and recommend practical solutions to improve handover efficiency and quality.
- Support reporting and status updates related to turnover readiness, accepted systems, outstanding documentation, and handover progress.
- Experience in completions, turnover, handover, commissioning support, quality documentation, or construction closeout on industrial, commercial, mission critical, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of systemization, subsystem turnover, check sheet management, and documentation control principles.
- Experience reviewing technical and quality documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Ability to interface effectively with construction, commissioning, quality, and owner representatives in a professional and organized manner.
- Strong meeting participation, issue tracking, and follow-up skills.
- Strong document management and administrative discipline with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity during planning and mobilization, then transition to site-based execution support.
- Proficiency with standard digital reporting and document tools, including Excel, Word, PDF markups, and completions or document management platforms.
- Prior experience on a data center, mission critical, power, industrial, or large infrastructure project.
- Familiarity with completions management systems and electronic turnover tracking platforms.
- Understanding of commissioning processes and the relationship between construction completion, turnover, commissioning, and final handover.
- Familiarity with document quality requirements for ITRs, check sheets, test packs, turnover dossiers, and system acceptance records.
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety expectations applicable to turnover of complex facilities is beneficial.
