Quality Certification Technician - Houston, TX (TCT)

LOCATION: Houston - Texas - USA

DEPARTMENT: QUALITY

Purpose

Responsible for generating mill test certificates and performing final product release for all products and orders, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, applicable standards, and internal quality procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Generate mill test certificates (MTCs), product certificates, and production reports.
  • Build customer reports using production and inspection data.
  • Process and analyze data from Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections.
  • Perform product certification by verifying compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards.
  • Ensure certificates meet customer specifications, including certificate type, commercial data, and third-party inspection (TPI) approval when required.
  • Perform final product release authorizing products for delivery.
  • Ensure certificates and documentation are issued on time to support invoice and delivery processes.
  • Document and track process deviations in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Prepare and process Quality KPIs for internal reporting.
  • Protect assigned facilities, equipment, and physical resources from damage, theft, or misuse.
Qualifications & Required Knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF
  • Familiar with NDT techniques and inspection data
  • Knowledge of quality documentation and test certification processes
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven organization
