Assist Lab technicians in collecting, preparing, and testing product samples. Cuts required samples and mark traceability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work safely
* Cut required samples
* Prepare test samples
* Test samples and report results
* Maintain lab machinery
* Housekeeping of lab
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
* Must have a thorough understanding of API specifications related to tubular goods.
* Must be proficient in the use of machinery used in the preparation of test samples.
* Must be proficient in the use of cutting torches for sample collection.
* Must understand the procedures that must be followed for the physical tests conducted at this facility.
* Must have good communication skills and be capable of maintaining historical records of lab tests.
