Description
Join National Dentex – a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. We have several labs throughout the country and are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization, including the On‑Call Removable Technical Advisor opportunity at NDX Stern Empire located in Houston, TX.
Regular scheduled hours from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position- Assist in training team members to ensure company quality standards are being maintained.
- Maintain and expedite workflow and quality control through the removable department while keeping overtime to a minimum.
- Work with the General Manager and Lab Administrator to monitor employee performance and quality.
- Together with the other Removable Manager, ensure all cases are checked for quality and sign off on each case with the QC card.
- Use technical expertise to determine remake reason and make appropriate decision on charge or no‑charge for case.
- Be the primary technical contact for customer related questions, concerns and updates; be diligent on customer callbacks and add notes into the Magic Touch system.
- Ensure the department is clearing task reports daily and update the General Manager on progress.
- Ensure on‑time delivery of 95%, overall average case turn‑around time (TAT) at 5.5 days and external quality remakes at 6% or less.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the department and the general upkeep of equipment and process areas.
- Ensure all safety compliance rules and regulations are being upheld in the department and work with the department safety liaison for updates from the Safety Committee.
Required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to effectively present information to team members and management team.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Intermediate skill sets in Microsoft Office products.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is imperative.
- Familiarity with internal systems in regards to scheduling, updating, remakes and task tracking.
- Must maintain organization to successfully and timely complete the variety of tasks associated with this position.
- Ability to have complex technical conversations with customers and in‑network labs.
- Preferred:
High School diploma or equivalent. - Minimum 7 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Office Equipment (Computer, Copier, Paper Cutter, etc.).
- All chemicals within department.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach.
- Ability to read and comprehend written communications.
- Vision capabilities:
Depth perception, attention to detail. - Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to effectively communicate information.
