FPS Onshore Quality Leader
Driving operational excellence through quality leadership, continuous improvement, and customer‑focused performance within Baker Hughes’ FPS Onshore business.
Responsibilities- Lead the global Quality function for the FPS Onshore business.
- Develop and implement quality strategies, systems, and processes to achieve high performance across the product lifecycle and service delivery.
- Establish a proactive quality culture recognized by customers, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Maintain the Quality Management System, update procedures and processes, and provide training to team members.
- Ensure all regulatory and industry standards are met across assigned operations.
- Manage supplier quality and enabling functions, including certifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take full accountability for Cost of Poor Quality oversight, reduction actions, and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement programs and embed associated tools and processes.
- Lead preventative actions and defect‑reduction initiatives across the business.
- Establish quality and reliability standards based on customer requirements, industry benchmarks, and engineering inputs.
- Drive cultural and operational improvements to support strategic business goals.
- Participate in the Product Line leadership team to align quality processes and systems with business priorities.
- Serve as the escalation point for customer quality issues and improvement actions across projects, products, and services.
- Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership in a timely and accurate manner.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college, or have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, and/or Manufacturing Operations.
- Demonstrate strong customer‑centric behavior and a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes.
- Be a proven change agent with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Have experience leading cross‑functional teams and driving improvement initiatives.
- Be decisive, self‑motivated, and able to translate strategic direction into actionable plans.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility with senior leaders.
- Be capable of managing complex customer requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
- Have excellent oral, written, and executive‑level presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
