  • Manage turnover packages, quality dossiers, MTRs, weld records, coating reports, inspection reports, and final QA/QC documentation.
  • Interface with customer representatives, third‑party inspectors, and auditors during inspections and witness points.
  • Ensure welding activities comply with applicable procedures and standards.
  • Supervise QC Inspectors and support personnel while maintaining accountability for quality performance.
  • Monitor shop quality metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in customer meetings, project kickoffs, and fabrication planning meetings as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and maintain a quality‑first culture throughout operations.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of QC/QA leadership experience within fabrication, oil & gas, subsea, pressure‑containing equipment, skid manufacturing, or modular fabrication environments.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes including welding, fitting, structural steel, piping systems, and coatings.
  • Experience reviewing fabrication drawings, weld procedures, quality plans, and customer specifications.
  • Knowledge of inspection methods including dimensional inspection, visual weld inspection, coating inspection, and material traceability.
  • Experience managing turnover packages and quality documentation for customer deliverables.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, structural drawings, and engineering packages.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally between operations, engineering, and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification preferred.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems preferred.
  • NACE, AMPP, or coating inspection certifications are a plus.
  • Prior experience with subsea equipment, process skids, modules, or oil & gas fabrication projects highly preferred.
