About this RoleQuanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG), a Quanta Services, Inc. company (NYSE: PWR) is looking for a Senior Operations Quality Manager is responsible for leading a pursuit or project quality team through the pursuit, planning, execution and close-out phases of a project. Work in close cooperation with the project and quality management for development and implementation of project required activities. Ensure that operations and field quality teams are executing the quality requirements of respective projects through monitoring and oversight.
Assist the Director of Quality in the maintenance of the quality management system. Provide input and leadership for development and implementation of best practices lessons learned. Participate in required internal and external audits that are contract required or certification required as applicable. Provide input to the vision and goals of company mission values.
Duties:
Planning
- Perform annual maintenance of QISG’s Quality Management System in compliance with international standards (ISO 9001) and client specifications.
- Manage comprehensive documentation related to quality management activities, including reports, records, and audits.
- Verify that established quality requirements for design-build and EPC Projects, including identifying the Standards, Guidelines, Checklists appropriate for the project are effective after implementation.
- Monitor an established internal surveillance program for QISG contracted equipment and materials identified as critical or contract required.
- Work with operations and commercial management teams to ensure that activities for process plans are current and reflect awarded project activities.
- Develops Audit plans, including schedule, documentation and resource requirements.
Monitoring and Oversight
- Ensure all quality management activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality performance metrics to senior management.
- Review and approve quality plans, procedures, and inspection reports.
- Ensure that updated operational, supply change management and engineering manuals / procedures are incorporated into new pursuits or currently executed projects as applicable.
- Plans and executes systematic and independent examinations/audits of project or surveillance program activities to evaluate implementation, procedural execution, compliance, and effectiveness to the QMS.
- Ensure that contract specified Factory Acceptance Testing, QA/QC testing, monitoring and records documentation meets project requirements.
- Assist in identifying and documenting issues that may cause, or contribute to, deviations from planned/expected outcomes and develop corrective action plans to address issues.
- Document Control - Verifies that project documents used at the jobsite are updated, maintained, and stored in accordance with project procedures. This includes design drawings, supplier and subcontractor drawings, test records, etc.
- Non-Conformance Control - Verifies that non-conformances are identified, documented, tracked, and resolved by the PM and the site CM implements the verification in an acceptable manner.
- Performs any other duties assigned.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Team Interaction
- Reports to management on the performance of the quality approach.
- Implements procedural improvements and best practices based on audit results/experiences and lessons learned.
