Quality Control Technician
Houston, TX 77023
$18–$24 per hour
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (OT as needed)
Lofton Staffing is seeking a Quality Specialist to support quality assurance efforts within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. We are seeking candidates with prior quality, inspection, or manufacturing experience who can contribute immediately in compliance, product inspection, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities- Perform visual, dimensional, and in‑process inspections on manufactured products
- Identify and document nonconformances and communicate findings to production and leadership teams
- Complete inspection reports, quality documentation, checklists, and records accurately
- Support ISO 9001 standards, document control, and process compliance
- Assist with internal audits, corrective actions, and quality initiatives
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
- Monitor product quality throughout production and help resolve issues quickly
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors, operators, and cross‑functional teams
- Keep work areas, records, and documentation organized and audit‑ready
- 1+ years of quality control, inspection, or manufacturing experience required
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment preferred
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring devices
- Understanding of quality standards, inspection methods, and documentation processes
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree preferred)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Work performed in both office and production/warehouse settings
- Steel‑toe boots required in warehouse areas
- Safety glasses required as needed
- Training and support provided by Quality Supervisor
- Exposure to systems such as ISO 9001 and Wrike
