We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to support inspection and quality control activities for incoming and inventory materials. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards and customer requirements prior to shipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections of incoming and stock materials used for order fulfillment.
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or non-conformance issues.
  • Verify dimensions and specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform thickness inspections and Positive Material Identification (PMI) testing when required.
  • Maintain quality assurance receiving logs, hold logs, and inspection records.
  • Generate reports related to PMI testing, thickness measurements, and non-conformance findings.
  • Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding quality concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, inspection, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with inspection and measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and similar equipment.
  • Experience using an ultrasonic thickness (UT) gauge is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately document inspection results and maintain records.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work across multiple departments.
  • Comfortable working in both warehouse and outdoor environments.
