Quality Inspector II

Skills and Abilities

* Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.

* Ability to operate all inspection equipment such as but not limited to the following: CMM, Micro Height, /OD micrometers, calipers, UT Machine, and Magnetic particle yokes.

* Read and interpret blueprints, standard operating procedures, and customer/regulatory requirements and inspect parts to these documents.

* Ability to do machine set up verification and first article inspections of parts on the machines

* Initiate non-conformance reports and any other quality records required by ETFH, customers, and any third-party agency.

* Initiate corrective action request when conditions adverse to part quality are repetitive in nature.

* Ability to meet 2 NDE requirements and as a company certified NDE Level II for UT, MT, and PT.

* Ability to perform all job duties of lower level inspections.

* Assist in training of lower level employees.

* Perform daily and regular cleaning in work area.

* Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of Managers, Supervisors, and Group Leaders.

* Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
