Quality Inspector

Now hiring for a Quality Inspector

Location:

Houston, TX $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Attention to Detail? Check. Great Career Opportunity? Double Check. Join a growing manufacturing team as a Quality Inspector! This role is ideal for candidates with at least 3 years of quality inspection experience who are passionate about maintaining product quality, ensuring compliance with production standards, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. If you have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and working in a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Experience using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Packaging or manufacturing quality control experience is a plus

Job Duties:

  • Inspect incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Read blueprints and specifications to verify production requirements are met
  • Perform product testing and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
  • Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Document inspection findings and report quality concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve non-conformities
  • Accept or reject products based on established quality standards
  • Recommend process improvements that support product quality and efficiency
  • Conduct random audits and inspections to maintain consistent quality performance

Physical Capabilities:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Manual dexterity to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
