Job Title

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety Documentation Support

  • Review, organize, and update corporate Health & Safety policies, procedures, standards, and guidance documents.
  • Assist with consolidating duplicate or outdated documents to ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Ensure HSE documents comply with company standards, formatting requirements, and document control processes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of policy libraries, templates, and records management systems.
  • Coordinate document reviews with district and operational personnel.

Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Management

  • Lead SDS cleanup initiatives across assigned districts.
  • Review SDS inventory databases for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify missing, duplicate, obsolete, or expired SDS records and coordinate updates.
  • Work with vendors, district personnel, and procurement teams to obtain current SDS documentation.
  • Assist with standardizing chemical inventories and SDS storage practices across locations.
  • Support Hazard Communication (Haz Com) compliance efforts.

Compliance & Administrative Support

  • Assist with maintaining HSE compliance records and documentation.
  • Support periodic audits and assessments related to safety programs and chemical management.
  • Develop reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards to monitor document and SDS cleanup activities.
  • Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification preferred or actively pursuing certification.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks.
  • Compliance with the Company's drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.
  • This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of their employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification or CSP candidate status.
  • Internship or prior experience in safety, environmental, compliance, or document management roles.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and Hazard Communication (Haz Com) requirements.
  • Experience managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) or chemical inventories.
  • Experience with document control systems, learning management systems, or compliance databases.
