iSphere is looking for a Quality Assurance Director who isn't afraid to be the person that says, "Nope, we're not releasing that."

This role leads a team of 15+ QA professionals supporting a rapidly growing B2B SaaS platform used by some of the largest companies in the world. The team needs a leader who understands quality isn't something you inspect into software at the end. It's something you build into the process from the beginning.

You'll be responsible for leading both manual and automation testing efforts, driving quality strategy, advancing AI-enabled testing capabilities, and helping ensure customers discover new features before they discover new defects.

The company has been around for 30 years, serves most of the Fortune 100, and continues to grow at a pace that keeps things interesting. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Technology Leadership while helping shape the future of quality across the organization.

What they're really looking for:

• 10+ years of software quality assurance and/or software development experience
• 5+ years leading QA teams of 10 or more professionals
• Strong B2B SaaS experience supporting enterprise customers
• Deep test automation experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and C#
• Performance and load testing experience using tools like JMeter
• Experience building and scaling QA processes and best practices
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Ability to balance delivery timelines with quality expectations
• Someone comfortable making difficult release decisions when necessary

Experience with AI-enabled testing, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar AI tools is highly valuable. This organization is investing heavily in AI and wants someone who sees AI as a force multiplier, not just another item on a technology roadmap.

This role isn't about counting test cases or running status meetings all day. It's about building a culture where quality matters, automation is leveraged intelligently, and defects are found before customers find them.

The right person for this role probably has a little healthy skepticism built into their DNA. They're the person who asks, "What happens if this fails?" while everyone else is celebrating that it worked once.

You'll lead a talented QA team, help modernize testing practices, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with leadership to ensure quality remains a competitive advantage as the platform continues to grow.

And yes, there will be moments where someone says, "It's probably fine."
