We’re looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality function at a Houston manufacturing facility. If you have 5–10 years of manufacturing quality experience, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, and quality leadership experience, this is a great opportunity to drive quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction in a hands‑on environment.
What You’ll Do:- Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer quality requirements
- Manage internal, external, and customer audits
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and CAPA
- Monitor FPY, defects, scrap, rework, customer returns, and supplier quality
- Develop and maintain Control Plans, FMEA, inspection procedures, and quality documentation
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Manage calibration and inspection equipment
- Support customer complaints and supplier quality issues
- Drive Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve quality issues
- 5–10 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of quality leadership experience
Experience with cable assemblies, wire harnesses, connectors, electronics, electromechanical assemblies, or industrial manufacturing preferred - Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
- Experience with 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Epicor, Sage, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered
- Preferred certifications include ASQ CMQ/OE, ASQ CQE, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
