Quality Supervisor

Dover Precision Components is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead quality operations in our manufacturing environment. This role oversees inspectors and technicians, ensures compliance with ISO and customer requirements, and drives root cause analysis and corrective actions. You will develop and maintain quality procedures, manage nonconformances, support PPAP/FAI, and partner with engineering and production to improve process capability and product reliability.

The Quality Supervisor also tracks key quality metrics, leads audits, supports safety initiatives, and mentors team members to promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

• Lead and supervise quality inspectors and technicians in a manufacturing environment
• Ensure compliance with ISO, customer, and internal quality standards
• Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
• Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures and work instructions
• Manage nonconformances, including disposition, documentation, and follow-up
• Support PPAP, FAI, and other qualification/validation activities with engineering and production
• Monitor and report quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators
• Plan and support internal and external quality audits
• Collaborate with engineering and production to improve process capability and product reliability
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement; coach and mentor team members

• Quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
• Root cause analysis (5 Whys, fishbone, 8D)
• Statistical process control (SPC)
• PPAP and FAI processes
• Nonconformance and corrective action management (CAPA)
• GD&T and print reading
• Use of metrology and inspection tools
• Data analysis and quality metrics reporting
• Manufacturing process knowledge (machining, assembly, etc.)
