SummarySupports daily operations of the Quality Dept. by performing Quality Control inspection activities as assigned
Required Competencies- Create, Maintain and Organize QA/QC Documentation
- Work Order Operation Sequence Sign In/Off; account for time on WO
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAPs) or customer required inspection reports
- Certificates of Conformance (C of Cs)
- Dimensional Inspection Reports
- MTRs, understand and interpret (occasionally)
- Prepares itemized lists of parts pulled from stock for shipping
- First article inspection for internal use or as required by customer
- Inspection and analysis of work in progress and finished parts
- Sample/Lot inspection of parent & component parts; and final assemblies
- Assist production/manufacturing in the interpretation of customer quality requirements
- Able to used appropriately all standard inspection equipment and tools
- Use and refer for maintenance calibrated tools
- Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas.
- Motivated to handle inspection task efficiently
- Follow company safety & security guidelines
- Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
- Other duties as needed.

RequiredEducation and/or Experience
- Proficient in the use of typical machine shop measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, prints and specifications
- Shop Math
- General Computer skills (Word, Excel)
Education and/or Experience
- Experience with ISO and/or other Quality Standards
- Global Shop (enterprise software)
- GD&T
Employee may be required to do the following: climbing into and out of equipment; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands, fingers and feet to operate tools and equipment; lifting up to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending;
kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction. The employee is frequently required to sit while performing the duties of this job (approx. 80%) walk (20%) The employee is expected to lift or move materials (5% of workday)
