The Gauge Lab Technician is responsible for calibrating gauges, inspecting hand tools, and adjusting gauge intervals in accordance with API specifications. This role ensures traceability records are created and maintained, linking back to NIST standards.

Your Day-to-Day Impact

You’ll play a vital role in our Quality teamby:

  • Maintain and calibrate gauges.
  • Conduct receiving inspections of critical parts.
  • Document calibrations and gauge repairs.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in the gauge room.

What You Bring

We’relooking for candidates who are sharp, safety-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves:

  • Thorough understanding of API specifications related to tubular goods.
  • Experience or training in the care and maintenance of measuring and test equipment.
  • Proficiency in API Thread Gauging.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain historical records of gauge certifications and repairs.
  • Directable, teamwork-oriented, adaptable, accountable, reliable, and proactive.
  • Safety awareness, ability to give and receive constructive feedback, pride in performance, commitment to continuous improvement and quality, effective communication, positive response to change, and high attention to detail.
