Title:
Supplier Quality (SQ) Coordinator
Reports To:
SQ Manager
Location:
Spring, TX
Hawk Technical Services, a fast-growing company specializing in the provision of technical staffing and QA/QC services to the oil and gas industry has an immediate opening for an experienced technical inspection coordinator.
Responsibilities:- o Client interface to develop inspection scope;
- o Interfacing with field-based Inspectors;
- o Technical report review;
- o Project coordination;
- o Commercial tasks including budget monitoring, time and expense approvals, invoice review and approval, etc.;
- o ITP development and assignment instructions;
- o Vetting potential new Inspectors, Expeditors, Auditors;
- o Conducting competency assessments;
- o Conducting field audits;
- o Problem and/or complaint investigation;
- o QMS development and oversight;
- o Maintaining international codes and standards;
- o Inspector mentoring and development
Four-year university degree in engineering or a related field preferred, but not mandatory. Will accept experience in lieu of formal education.
Experience5+ years of proven inspection experience across a wide range of equipment types and commodities.
Professional Skills- o excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- o proficient in basic computer skills (Word, Excel, E-Mail, PowerPoint, etc.)
- o team player
