QA Inspector III

SUMMARY As a QA Inspector III, you are the last set of eyes on the part before it ships. You will run first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined fasteners — working from prints and GD&T callouts with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, go/no-go gages, and an optical comparator — and back that up with mechanical testing (hardness, tensile, and Charpy), positive material identification, and coating thickness verification.

You will confirm stamp marking, document every result, and make the accept or reject call on parts headed into critical service. This is hands-on floor work for an inspector who reads a drawing carefully, keeps clean records, and does not pass anything they are not sure of. Training is provided on the mechanical test equipment.
