Pro Source, a leader in the right of way, acquisition, and relocation industry, is searching for an Acquisition Agent II for an ongoing project located in Houston, TX. Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, Pro Source is poised for expansion and growth and are looking for the perfect Acquisition Agent to add to our team.

Description

The Acquisition Agent II is responsible for working directly and independently with landowners, businesses, and other viable entities to acquire rights to easement for assigned projects. This role represents independent execution within the mid‑level tier of Pro Source’s Acquisition Career Framework.

Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions

The Acquisition Agent II will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Works independently to acquire rights in real property full & partial takings, permanent easements, and long‑term leases.
  • Identify potential sites and establish contact with landowners.
  • Study, evaluate, and explain project plans and profile drawings and property plats.
  • Prepare requests for title abstracts to determine the parties of interest.
  • Request, review, and evaluate property appraisals or comparable sales reports.
  • Negotiate property leases and purchases with property owners.
  • Analyze governing body zoning and building codes and complete permit applications.
  • Review signed agreements prepared for client approval.
  • Manages assigned parcels independently and negotiates within defined authority.
  • Escalates complex issues appropriately.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent; degree preferred in position related field.
  • 3‑6 years of experience in land acquisition, title searches, real estate law, appraisal field or other related fields.
  • Knowledge of real estate law and property transactions.
