Associate – Public & Private Infrastructure & Real Estate

Mc Guire Woods  invites an experienced real estate Associate that may work in the Houston office or either the Dallas or Austin offices. The role focuses on representing real estate investors, developers, and financial institutions on transactions including acquisition, financing, planning, zoning, construction, leasing, and sale.

• Represent clients in all facets of real estate transactions.
• Draft and review transaction documents, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leases.
• Perform title, survey, and due diligence reviews.
• Collaborate with client, business, and legal teams on strategy and execution.
• Leverage technology platforms such as Harvey AI to support research and drafting.

• 3–5 years of law firm experience in real‑estate and land‑use.
• Proficient in real‑estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.
• Strong academic record and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with renewable or conventional energy projects is a plus.
• Willingness to adopt innovative legal technology.
