Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This job is to serve as providing technical support for some of our ongoing projects within the lab. The candidate will be working with some of the graduate students in the lab to help them complete the technical aspects of their projects.
Responsibilities- Prepares and conducts laboratory research experiments.
- Conducts experiments on mice.
- Collects, compiles and analyzes data.
- Conducts literature searches and summarizes information in an appropriate format for a particular study.
- Documents results of experiments including help backup data to repositories as stipulated by our Data Management and Sharing Plan.
- Selects, evaluates and applies techniques used in routine research.
- Orders laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- No experience required.
- Master's degree in a basic science or a related field.
- Prior experience working with mice.
- Prior experience working in a research lab.
- Experience with statistical analysis programs. I.e Excel, PRISM or R.
Work Authorization Requirement:
