Laboratory Technician

Assist in the design of experiments, conduct those experiments independently, and collect, summarize, and present the resulting data.

Prepare and evaluate coating formulations, including electro-coat, primer, topcoat, and clear coat, using mixing and spray equipment.

Willingness to train and become proficient in application equipment to spray coating formulations on test substrates.

Accurately run and record test results for all coating formulations.

Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the laboratory; collaborate with research investigators when erroneous or unexpected results occur.

Requirements:

• 2-year or 4-year degree from college or technical school in a chemical or life-science related field; or equivalent job experience in an industrial laboratory environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to work well in both self-managed and team environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
