The Postdoctoral Fellow serves as a vital scientific collaborator, assisting the Principal Investigator in the advancement of high-impact research projects focused on tumorigenesis, metastasis, cell plasticity, and tissue regeneration, with a particular emphasis on WNT signaling. Research in the laboratory utilizes a comprehensive approach involving genetically engineered organoids, mouse models, patient samples, and single-cell and spatial transcriptomics. The Fellow will have opportunities to develop expertise in cutting-edge single-cell biology techniques, genetically engineered organoids, and advanced microscopy within a highly collaborative and interactive research environment.

Operating with significant independence, the Fellow will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, initiation, and completion of sophisticated research experiments, including the development and adaptation of research protocols, techniques, and specialized equipment to support experimental precision and innovation. The role requires a strategic and analytical approach to scientific problem-solving, including establishing research objectives, analyzing and evaluating complex data, and continuously refining methodologies to address scientific challenges.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with grant applications, writing manuscripts, planning and coordinating research activities, training laboratory personnel, supervising laboratory equipment usage, implementing laboratory safety procedures, and communicating findings to senior leadership and the broader scientific community. Through these efforts, the Postdoctoral Fellow will contribute significantly to advancing translational cancer research and scientific discovery.

* LEARNING OBJECTIVES
* Conduct independent and collaborative research focused on tumorigenesis, metastasis, cell plasticity, tissue regeneration, and WNT signaling using genetically engineered organoids, mouse models, patient samples, and single-cell and spatial transcriptomics approaches. Design and execute research experiments, analyze complex data, develop experimental methodologies, prepare manuscripts and grant applications, and present scientific findings. Develop expertise in single-cell biology, organoid systems, and advanced microscopy while contributing to a collaborative translational cancer research environment.

* ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
* Applicants must hold a recent Ph.D. (including Ph.D. candidates) and/or M.D./Ph.D. degree, or equivalent doctorate, and be seeking a temporary appointment under the supervision of a faculty mentor involving full-time laboratory-based research or scholarship in preparation for an academic or research career as an independent investigator. Applicants should have experience in molecular biology, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, or related fields, as well as strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Experience working with mouse models is preferred.
