ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Dynamical Systems, beginning in the Fall of 2027. This appointment is for an initial term of 12 months, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year, contingent upon performance.

Preferred Areas of ResearchStrong applicants from all areas of Dynamical Systems are encouraged to apply, with preference to those interested in one or more of the following topics: ergodic theory, homogeneous dynamics, flat surfaces.
QualificationsRequirements for a postdoctoral position include a doctoral degree at the start date of the position to recent PhDs with outstanding research potential.
Additional Requirements- MQ:
Requires singular knowledge of a specialized advanced professional discipline or the highest level of general business knowledge, normally acquired through attainment of a directly job-related terminal degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed. - No experience is required.
