Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Gautier Lab in the Department of Epigenetics and Molecular Carcinogenesis at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows. Our research focuses on understanding how genome organization facilitates and coordinates DNA repair alongside DNA replication and transcription, to prevent pathological rearrangements and cancer development. We invite applications from researchers with a strong interest in genome integrity and cancer biology.

Highly motivated Fellows will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge studies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The Postdoctoral Fellows will improve their skills in study design, data analysis, and manuscript writing. They will design experiments using established protocols in the areas of cell biology, genomics, proteomics or a combination of these. They will optimize experimental design through literature searches and learn how to analyze imaging, sequencing, or protein data sets with appropriate statistical tools. They will also improve presentation skills through weekly lab meetings and local and national scientific meetings and will prepare experimental data for publication.

All duties and responsibilities are carried out in compliance with institutional policies, ethical research standards, and applicable federal and state regulations.
