Summary

This position is an Instructor (non-tenure track) faculty role at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in Houston, working in Dr. Sang-Jun Han's laboratory within the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology.

The research centers on:

  • Generating recombinant human endometrial cells
  • Developing and studying mouse models
  • Investigating the molecular causes (etiology) of endometriosis
  • Publishing research findings and pursuing external grant funding
Job Duties

The successful candidate would be expected to:

  • Design, conduct, troubleshoot, and optimize laboratory experiments
  • Analyze experimental data and recommend protocol improvements
  • Maintain accurate research records and documentation
  • Prepare and perform laboratory research studies
  • Develop and submit grant proposals for external funding
  • Write manuscripts and publish results in peer-reviewed scientific journals
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a research team
Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD required
  • Strong background in biomedical research
  • Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated potential for scholarly publication and grant development
