Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science.
- 0-5 years' previous industry analysis/consulting, research or process industry experience.
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft spread sheets, word processing and presentation applications.
- Proficient in the use of databases.
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Personal Qualities & Knowledge;
- Capable of developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Positive and flexible attitude to work, particularly on new initiatives.
- Diplomatic in meeting and working with people, good cultural awareness.
- Understanding and commitment to equal opportunities.
- Willingness to travel for field work.
THE ROLE:
FGE NexantECA is seeking Analysts for opportunities based in Houston, USA. The ideal candidate(s) will have up to 5 years of relevant industry and/or consulting experience in chemicals, low carbon molecules, energy or associated infrastructure.
The role will cover consulting activities addressing technology, economics, industry and market analysis across a broad range of chemicals, low carbon molecules, energy and associated infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the delivery of consulting engagements and to exceed client's expectations, through research, analysis and report writing
- Conduct primary research to understand key industry issues and develop market balances and projections.
