DISHWASHER

Location: Energy Center 5 Cafe - 915 North Eldridge Parkway, Houston, TX 77079. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary. Breakfast and lunch service included.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Requirements: Prior dishwashing experience preferred.

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes; wash by hand or place in racks/conveyor to dishwashing machine as per assigned equipment. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures. Ensure cleanliness.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on equipment. Ensure cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as per provided standards.
• Keep dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place in designated containers. Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help load and unload supplies and products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
