The Wait Staff will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is both enjoyable and memorable. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for excellent service in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service:
Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, providing menus and offering drinks promptly. Take and accurately input food and beverage orders, ensuring all guest requests are met. - Knowledgeable Recommendations:
Provide guests with detailed information about menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings. Make personalized recommendations based on guests' preferences and dietary restrictions. - Order Management:
Ensure timely and efficient delivery of orders to guests, checking in regularly to anticipate any needs. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and bar personnel to ensure a seamless service experience. - Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep dining areas clean and organized, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. - Handling Payments:
Accurately process guest payments, including cash, credit, and gift card transactions. Handle cash and change responsibly, maintaining accurate records and balancing at the end of shifts. - Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with other wait staff and management to ensure efficient service and a cohesive team environment. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance service skills and knowledge.
- Previous experience in a high‑end restaurant or nightlife setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail pairings, is a plus.
