Goode Company Dish Scraper

As a Dish Scraper, you will play a key role in supporting the guest experience by maintaining an organized and efficient dish area. This position is responsible for scraping, sorting, and staging all soiled dishes and trays prior to washing, ensuring a smooth flow in the dish station. By keeping the back-of-house process running seamlessly, this team member helps free up service staff to remain fully focused on providing attentive, welcoming hospitality to our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist bussers in setting up trash cans for dining areas and kitchen areas
  • Stock and restock all clean plates and utensils
  • Sweep and mop dish room and kitchen floors as needed
  • Clean bathrooms
  • Retrieve clean trash cans and place throughout kitchen with trash bags in them
  • Clean all kitchen floor mats and trash cans outside in the proper washing down area
  • Clean all pots, pans, plates, utensils and machines used during the shift and store in proper place
  • Clean dish room to company standards, and maintain all supplies needed to operate effectively per shift
  • Perform any duties specified by the management team
  • Always follow company safety policies and guidelines
  • Assist prep cooks and bussers as needed by emptying all bus tubs and washing bus tubs
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Must take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and be accountable to yourself and to our customers.
  • Punctual and reliable attendance
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
  • Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler Certified
