The Hilton Americas‑Houston is looking for its next Lead Cook to join the culinary team at Lobby Bar! Connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center, Hilton Americas‑Houston is the city's largest convention hotel. Located in the heart of downtown, Hilton Americas‑Houston delivers world‑class hospitality in a vibrant, fast‑paced environment.

The ideal Lead Cook candidate is a skilled and motivated culinary professional who demonstrates exceptional technique, speed, and consistency in elevated bar‑style cuisine. They are a natural leader who communicates clearly, supports team members, and collaborates closely with chefs, bartenders, and service staff to ensure a seamless guest experience. Reliability, creativity, and the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic lobby‑bar setting make them an excellent fit for this role.

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
• Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products.
• Stock and maintain designated food station(s).
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen.
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations.
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed.
