Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to bar patrons, in a fast-paced environment and ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Set up and break down of bars. Keep bar area clean, sanitized, and neat.
- Take orders from customers
- Request identification from customers when legal age is questioned
- Collect and close payments in POS system
- Ability to efficiently switch between multiple tasks
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required. At least six months to one-year prior restaurant and/or bar experience required. Experience with POS System preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsCurrent, valid TABC Certification
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee may be required to sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. During the Show, the employee may be required to frequently walk to various places on the grounds.
The employee may be required to lift and/or move 25 or more pounds. Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The employee may be on feet for up to eight hours during shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to work assigned schedule for duration of event. Must wear company-issued uniform vest.
Must be available to work every day from March 2–22, 2025.
