Prepare food items per guest orders following recipe cards, production requirements, and presentation standards; set up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.;
Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, ensuring not to over-prepare.;
Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment.;
Date all food containers and rotate per policies; monitor perishables, stock, and shortages; implement actions to correct food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage.;
Assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments for the next shift.
