We’re looking for two outstanding bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced environment, love connecting with people, and take pride in delivering unforgettable service.

What You'll DoAs a bartender at La Viva Tex Mex, you will:
- Prepare craft cocktails, margaritas, beer, wine, and specialty beverages with accuracy and speed
- Engage guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant with genuine hospitality
- Create an energetic, welcoming bar atmosphere
- Maintain full knowledge of our drink menu, tequila/mezcal selection, and featured cocktails
- Support servers by preparing bar drinks quickly and accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar at all times
- Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Assist with opening and closing bar duties
- Work as a team with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver an outstanding guest experience
The ideal candidate is:
- Friendly, outgoing, and naturally engaging with guests
- Able to work efficiently in a high-energy environment
- Passionate about cocktails, tequila, and hospitality
- Organized and detail-oriented
- A team player who supports the entire restaurant
- Professional and dependable
- 1+ year bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails and margaritas
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- TABC certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
