We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team! We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.79 per hour ON TOP OF YOUR HOURLY RATE.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

They thrive on engaging with customers and assist with inquiries and problem resolution. The associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more. The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities of a Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate (This is a representative list and not all-inclusive; duties may be assigned as needed):

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide/ recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise display.
• Handle sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Cash handling and negotiable items management in line with policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legally the pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; show respect and use effective tools.
• Partner with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete required training successfully.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.) in compliance with laws.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Assist customers on exterior areas or retrieve products stored outside the building as needed.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
