Meat Cutter 3 - 037 - Bellfort-Huston
Store 037 Houston Bellfort
Job Responsibilities- Under direct supervision, break, cut, and prepare meat products using hand tools and power equipment in the variety, size, quantity, and trim prescribed by company standards.
- Prepare meat products for display or as ordered by customers.
- Work with customers to take special orders.
- Work with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut.
- Perform very heavy lifting, bending, standing, and stooping for prolonged periods.
The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
Requirements- Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
