• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.

Under direct supervision, the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills, and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The role comprises two shifts: a morning shift that begins with replenishing product, and an afternoon shift focusing on assisting customers throughout the shift. The clerk also maintains the department’s cleanliness.

The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, along with visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required.
