Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the bakery department.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases, take special orders, and collaborate with the Baker to determine items needing baking or decorating.
• Maintain cleanliness: clean shelving, display cases, fill, rotate self‑serve displays, hose down floors, and perform department cleaning tasks.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs as needed; stand, walk, and kneel throughout the shift.

Required Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with customers and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.

Preferred Experience

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
