Customer Service Rep, Retail Sales
$10.00 to $14.00 per hour (base pay) with an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.
Position SummaryWe are seeking an entry‑level, full‑time Sales Associate in our pawn store locations nationwide. The role partners with the entire store team to provide excellent customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business, handling sales, loans, and other transactions involving jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Perform non‑management open/close procedures and keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandised.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle all cash and negotiable items in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicate effectively to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
- Collaborate with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
- Partner with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Successfully complete assigned training.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Agree to a binding arbitration agreement to resolve disputes as a condition of employment.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to work in multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
- Strong desire to work with customers, be team‑oriented, and handle basic math calculations proficiently.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- For FFL locations: ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.

- Sick/Personal leave: 8 hours after six months and 16 hours each anniversary thereafter, adjusting per state/local requirements.
