Part‑Time Retail Sales Associate

$10.00 to $14.00 per hour, plus commission up to 8% on transactions.

We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The associate partners with the entire staff to ensure excellent customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions while handling a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

• Greet and interact with customers to build rapport and recommend services.
• Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized sales floor.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with company and regulatory policies.
• Handle all cash and negotiable items securely.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to perform tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work with customers, be team‑oriented, and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work in multiple locations and on a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission can range from 2% to 8% based on gross profit of personal performance. Further details are provided during the interview process.
