• Provide customer service and conduct various tasks within the bakery.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases.
• Clean shelving and display cases.
• Clean, fill, and rotate the self-serve displays in the store.
• Work with customers to take special orders.
• Coordinate with the Baker to determine which items may need to be baked or decorated.
• Help keep the department clean by hosing down floors with soap and water.

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
