The Beaufort Bonnet Company is a children’s lifestyle brand dedicated to celebrating the joy of childhood.

• Present and sell merchandise consistent with the brand by interacting and providing merchandise suggestions to customers.
• Provide suggestions to management for merchandising improvements that may increase sales.
• Build a personal client book.
• Use the POS software system effectively: conduct routine register transactions, routine inventory receiving and transfers, opening and closing of registers and store.
• Learn and troubleshoot the point‑of‑sale system in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Share current product knowledge with customers, providing prompt recommendations and professional service to enhance their shopping experience.
• Participate in all store‑related meetings, working toward exceeding sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Operate the store consistently with the prescribed company policies and procedures.
• Provide ideas to grow and improve the business, including merchandising, staffing, floor displays, store fixtures, advertising, promotion, hours of operation or any other improvement ideas.
• Safeguard store assets: maintain inventory integrity, prevent shrinkage, assist in cycle counts and year‑end physical inventory.
• Open and close registers and store in the absence of the manager or assistant manager.

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail with proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Teamwork oriented; appreciate interacting with others.
• Ability to multitask, remain organized and take initiative.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working flexibly and problem solving.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
