This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Houston, TX at our Galleria location.
ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Associate will welcome customers, provide personalized assistance, and offer styling suggestions that reflect the CHEVIGNON US brand. Daily responsibilities include engaging customers on the sales floor, answering product questions, processing transactions, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The role also involves maintaining visual merchandising standards, restocking inventory, and ensuring a clean, organized, and inviting store environment. The Sales Associate will handle exchanges and returns, support in-store events or promotions, and collaborate with team members and store leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications- Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to actively listen, identify needs, and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Sales and retail experience, including comfort with meeting sales goals, upselling, and cross‑selling in a fast‑paced store environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
- Basic point‑of‑sale (POS) and cash‑handling skills, with accuracy in processing payments, returns, and exchanges.
- Ability to maintain visual standards, including merchandising, product presentation, and stock organization.
- Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and lifting or moving merchandise as needed.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team and follow store policies and procedures.
- Prior experience in fashion or apparel retail is preferred; interest in leather, denim, and premium fashion is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
