Golf Shop Attendant

Overview

Pine Forest Country Club is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. This position serves as one of the primary points of contact for members and guests and plays an important role in delivering an exceptional club experience. The ideal candidate will display the following qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn club management software.
• Experience with Jonas POS and/or Four Tees systems is preferred but not required.
• Previous retail, hospitality, golf operations, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the game of golf is beneficial but not required.

• Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check in golfers for daily play and provide outstanding member service.
• Answer incoming phone calls regarding tee times, golf events, and general club inquiries.
• Manage and update tee times using the Four Tees tee sheet system.
• Process merchandise and golf-related purchases using the Jonas Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Assist members with retail purchases, special orders, and product inquiries.
• Support golf shop merchandising, including stocking, organizing, displaying, and maintaining merchandise presentations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the golf shop.
• Communicate effectively with golf operations staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Build positive relationships with members through regular interaction and personalized service.
• Assist with tournaments, golf events, and special club functions as needed.
