Asset Protection Associate

Job Overview

Salary Range: $22.61 - $28.26 per hour.

This role operates under the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations and monitors shortage results, shortage control, investigations, and apprehensions regarding theft. The associate implements store safety and awareness programs at a Saks Fifth Avenue location.

• Train store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures.
• Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis.
• Organize and conduct annual store inventory.
• Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness.
• Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as required.

• Minimum of 2 years of Asset Protection experience in a large-volume retail environment.
• Relevant certifications, including Wicklander‑Zulawski, required where applicable by jurisdiction.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
